To all of our fellow Wildcat 91.9 listeners we urge you to read about this devastating campus issue. As many of you may already know the student population at K-State will be shrinking this fall. The reason for this is largely in part to the financial distress that weighs on students from the COVID-19 pandemic. People have lost their jobs and are still unable to return to work leaving them vulnerable in the worst of ways.
The A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communication has set up an emergency fund in coordination with the KSU Foundation in order to combat financial insecurity for JMC students. Funds raised during this campaign will be dispensed as small grants to be used towards paying for food, gas, utility bills, books, and other incidental expenses that could force them to go home.
We here at Wildcat 91.9 are asking you to please give if you are able, any contribution is appreciated. Thank you for your time and please follow this link https://give.evertrue.com/ksu/jmc20 to the donation page. We are counting on you!
