How did you get involved with KSDB?
I saw the job description on CES and was more interested in what it was for, so I researched KSDB. Once I knew more about the station I was really eager to get involved and be a part of the team.

What exactly does your job entail?
My job is helping the Underwriting Representative, mostly contacting business to set up connections and partnerships. I help with the small things so the underwriter can put more attention towards bigger projects.

Favorite part about your position? Or the station?
My favorite part about this job is the people and the atmosphere. I am totally comfortable in my workspace and I already feel welcome at the station. The people I work with make the job totally great.

What’s your biggest goal for the semester?
My goal would be to help out more with classroom series or bigger events we put on. I’d also like to make more connections around the station just meet more people and make more friends.

Give us 3 albums or artists you’ve been vibing with lately.
Most artists I consistently listen to are mainstream, I listen to smaller artists but I usually don’t exclusively follow them.
Twenty One Pilots- I really love what Tyler and Josh do and what they write about, thier songs are more than just melody and I like that they speak to you and about what you might be facing. Also I’ve seen them live and they put on one heck of a show.
The Chainsmokers- I’ve followed Drew and Alex since their first small hit “Let You Go” and they have definitely grown as artists, I still appreciate the melody and the sounds. I’ve seen them live twice and each time they find a way to change it up and make it that much better.
Judah & The Lion- They are a relatively small group compared to what I normally listen to but I heard their song “Take It All Back” on pandora when I was searching for new music and I loved it. the way they bring backwoods instruments into this folk-hop sound makes it so original.

And, what is an interesting fact about you?
I listen to a lot of EDM artists because that’s my dream is to be one, I often spend a majority of my free time sampling sounds and remixing some of my favorite songs.
