How did you get involved with KSDB?
I saw their booth at the clubs fair and thought it was pretty cool, and I like music, so I was just applyed to be a DJ, and the rest is history.
What exactly does your job entail?
Basically I work with Sara to get new music in our station, as well as edit the rotations of music we have in our system. We also make album reviews and other content for our other media platforms. Its pretty fun.
Favorite part about your position? Or the station?
My favorite thing about KSDB is the fact that gives regular students here at K-State to an opportunity to express themselves through radio and get experience with communicating with a mass audience, which is a key skill to have in today’s age.
What’s your biggest goal for the semester?
Definitely to get more students here at K-state tuning in and getting involved with the station, as well as putting more focus on the hip-hop rotation.
Give us 3 albums or artists you’ve been vibing with lately.
This is a tough one to narrow it to just three, but I’ve defiantly been vibing with Big K.R.I.T’s 4eva is a Mighty Long Time, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s Polygondawanaland, and Vince Staples’ Big Fish Theory right now.
And, what is an interesting fact about you?
An interesting fact about is that I have lived in 8 different cities in my life.
