Kansas State Women’s Basketball stayed ranked 10 in the AP Poll after dominating Creighton last Thursday. The AP Poll only took week three games into consideration (Creighton). Kansas State did however climb in the USA Today’s coaches poll from 11 to 10, cresting the top 10 for the first time this season.

Bracketology Breakdown

Most bracketologies rank the Cats a three-seed and hosting the first two rounds of the tournament here in Bramlage. If it plays out like that Kansas State would host March Madness for the second year in a row.

Big 12 Rankings Rundown

The Big 12 has five teams ranked in the AP Top 25. All five teams come in as top 20 teams, Iowa State (8), Kansas State (10), West Virginia (13), Baylor (18), and TCU (19). The USA Today coaches poll ranks the same five teams into the top 25. A stacked Big 12 is exciting to look forward to, conference play will be exciting to watch this year in the Big 12.

A Look Ahead at the K-State Schedule

No. 10 K-State plays Wednesday versus Milwaukee. Kansas State looks to bounce back offensively after a poor showing on Monday against Little Rock. After the Wildcats matchup on Wednesday they will travel to the Ball Dawgs Classic against ranked Duke. Duke is 4-1 and ranked 14 in both the AP Poll and coaches poll, and will be K-State's first test of the season. The game against Milwaukee on Wednesday will be aired live here on Wildcat 91.9 FM.
