Music Rotation Wednesdays: April 10, 2019

New in Rotation (4-10-19)

Michelle Blades – Visitor

This french rock group brings you right back to the late 60’s and early 70’s with their classic, earthy and trippy sound. They can often sound very reminiscent of groups like It’s a Beautiful Day.

Chris Cohen – Chris Cohen

Although he’s been playing music for a long time, Chris Cohen isn’t incredibly well-known for his solo work. With this incredibly folky project, Chris does his best Eagles impression in songs like “Green Eyes,” as he focuses heavily on story-telling in his songs.

Sonny and the Sunsets – Hairdressers From Heaven

This release is incredibly unique just in its ability to change styles so frequently. Sometimes piano-driven, sometimes synthy, Sonny Smith makes essentially a mixtape with his collage of several styles.
